Kitiara is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with prior experience working with adults, couples, and families in substance use treatment settings. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University. Kitiara works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

Kitiara believes therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are. She takes a collaborative, client-centered approach and integrates evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, while tailoring each session to your unique story, strengths, and goals. She is passionate about helping clients strengthen emotional regulation, deepen self-awareness, build resilience, take steps towards meaningful, lasting change, and build healthier, more compassionate relationships with themselves.

With a background as a yoga instructor, Kitiara brings a holistic lens to her work, valuing the connection between mind and body. She strives to create a grounded and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to move forward with clarity, balance, and confidence.

In her free time, Kitiara enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, practicing yoga, and reading.
